Another Games Workshop army that I have since I was a child is an Eldar army for the game Epic (now renamed to Epic: Armageddon).
I was curious today and searched for prices at GW store, just to find that they are way overpriced...
Almost the same miniatures I have, but ad a price that I don't know what they have to be so expensive (come on, 12 pounds for 24 Wraithlords miniatures that size between 6 and 15 milimeters! all the plastic of them is surely less than a single Warhammer 40k miniature!).
It is a pity, because I have another two armies almost unpainted (orcs and space marines, contained in the game box), and it seems they will stay that size, but compared with the Eldar army they are very few in numbers and firepower...
A pity that simply not being a mainstream game they charge you extra for them :(
Finally, I've ended assembling all my warhammer 40k buildings!
With the remaining pieces I've managed to create another small Sanctus Imperialis ruins:
And a small Basilica Administratum:
As you can se, I've tried to add as much details and mini-moddings as possible, like broken columns and walls, a bigger ladder or a fallen angel statue.
Now it's time to start painting, all will look better and I won't buy any more miniatures or props until a good amount of painting is finished.
I've got work for months!

Continuing the work mentioned in my last post, I've finished another two buildings.
A Sanctus Imperialis
And a Manufactorum
I've made some paper blueprints to optimize the remaining pieces and I can build another Sanctus and Basilica themed buildings (one of each), not as big as this ones but perfect for small skirmish battles.

In the last GW shipment I made (which was lost and had to be sent again, thanks spanish GW customer support guys for the good service!), apart from more paints, a playing mat and a few props (pictures in the future when I have something actually painted!), I bought a building kit, and I've built a Basilica Administratum.
I've been again surprised on how things have changed, the kit comes in individual pieces to build like in The Sims videogames, placing walls, floors, junctions, columns and decorations.
It took me a while to build it (is really big once finished!), now I just need to stop time for some weeks and be able to paint it, but at least I can use it in my upcoming battles with Lobo666.
Anyway, here are some photos of the process:

While searching for info on what has changed in all this time, I found a great website that aims to gather all available models, The Stuff of Legends.
Inside, we have the Citadel Miniatures archive, and I found some really emoting plastic sets I own since I was a child. First image is a sample one, second is/are my painted model(s).
The old MK6 armor Space Marines:
The Rhino APC:
And the Land Raider tank:
If I just had known back then that now would be extinct...
