The boy was amazed. He just found a square full of green, natural grass. He could believe it.
His parents always told him not to go there, to the construction zone of the city, because he could slip or fall and get hurt with a metal pipe or similar.
But he was not very good following orders, so he kept going there. He could spend hours, looking at the dozens of kilometers of entire residential areas being built, everything covered with white concrete. Even the wooden patches would get almost white because of the concrete dust.
Except for his small, green square.
How could the grass had survived there? In his entire life, he only had seen grass at the recreational areas (most of them had artificial grass) and at the natu-parks, the small last remains of natural environments, sealed and carefully maintained as a living snapshot of the past, before mankind almost destroyed the planet.
But if there was grass under that piece of concrete, could it be in other places? Would it be possible then to bring back the Nature?[tags:Elder's Thoughts]
Just as almost every 3D FPS has boxes, from the first Quake to the latest Rainbow Six: Vegas, almost every RPG starts with your main character having to kill rats, from the Wizardry series to the latest Final Fantasy XII.
The hunter was watching the people run by the streets, with their cars, their motorcycles...
It was winter, but no snow on the rooftops. Still, it was very cold.
Hunting time was coming to it's end. Too cold to enjoy it.
¿Time to return home? Probably, and he already had a good trophy.
I had my last vacations just last week, so I've been very disconnected from the net.
I've just reinstalled my desktop (gaming) PC, but right now it's ready for games reinstallation and enjoyment :)
It's three weeks mission, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilitations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.
I'll be having my long expected vacations at last, and I'm going to Australia for three weeks the 30th of october.
We'regoing adventure-style (just flight tickets, probably light luggage and backpacks), and we want to travel around the eastern part of the continent. Of course I won't touch a computer the whole journey (I want to disconnect from computers a bit).
We recently finished the scuba diving course and we hope to dive in the australian coral reefs too.
Something (quite sad) happened to my life also this past days, so until the 20th of november there'll be no updates to the blog.
Until then, keep dreaming with dragons, swords and spaceships.

At the distance they could see the temple, high above the mountains.
The temple they were searching for. The place to learn the secrets, the intimate techniques they were searching.
The path hadn't been easy nor short. But the end was near, almost at hand.
The white, tall buildings inspire confidence, the end of the journey, the prize for their effort.
Just a bit more and they would reach their destiny...
