Last winter. in one of my visits to what me and my friends call "the roleplaying shops" (5 Comics, RPGs and boardgames shops in the same area) I bought a revised edition of the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game.
Now that I've read some Lovecraft books (and I'm reading more right now) I feel like I'm ready to read the game rules and get the proper feeling about the game.
I don't know if I'll try to lure my friends to play it (like in the old times our "roleplaying weekends") or I will take a more "pure roleplaying" approach and maybe transform it into an email, turn based playing (focusing more on describing things and getting a deep history instead of dice rolls).
I'll post my oppinion as soon as I finish reading the rules.
Oh, and the title of this post comes from finding that the first edition of the RPG game came out in 1981, the same year I was born. Maybe that's the reason why I like so much the Cthulhu myths }:)
